Lorant Kiss is a Toronto-based criminal lawyer who focuses his practice exclusively on defence law. He has experience representing individuals charged with a wide range of offences and has appeared in courts across the GTA and Southern Ontario. Prior to establishing his own practice, Lorant was a Student-at-Law and Associate at a prominent downtown criminal defence firm.

A graduate of the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, Lorant successfully represented a multitude of clients charged with criminal offences during his time in law school, through Windsor’s Community Legal Aid.  Lorant received his Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto.

Before obtaining his law degree, Lorant worked in immigration law helping newcomers to Canada.  In this role, he observed first-hand the negative impact that criminal charges may have on an individual’s ability to immigrate to, or remain in Canada.
